i am doing a debate at school on Gambling. Im on the opposition team. I can’t find a lot of information, but if you can give your own opinion!

Wow you got a hard one. Write down what you think some of the arguements for it, then think carefully how you can turn it around.

1) Taxes, the gambling industry will make it difficult to determine ones losses/wins. Income taxes may be a bit more variable.

2) Oftentimes, gambling is associated with smoking, drinking, adult entertainment, if its in all 50 states, its hard for a child to grow up without being influenced.

3) Gambling addiction, its hard to get away when theres a casino around the block.

4) Crime is usually an issue with cities that have legalized gambling.

Sorry you got the opposition side, cause I have many more reasons to have it legalized.

hmmm that is kinda tough but i would say the odds are against the people playing so its not a valid way to make money so frequent players are pretty much always going to end up down money which could cause addiction if they are playing with money they need.
