My estranged father who is umemployed apparently won alot money gambling recently how this affect my financial aid for school?

When you apply for FAFSA it will ask you how much money is in your parent’s assets.
Now, if he has all this money in a bank then you must write down how much money he has in the bank.
If he has all this money at home, in a safe, or wherever it may be but NOT in a bank then you can say that he has $ 0 in assets.
