Jamie: How do I hide a tattoo or where is the best place to hide it?
I plan to get a tattoo but my dad don’t approve of it and won’t let me get one. I am 22 and capable of making this decision on my own and it’s not going to be some stupid tattoo. I know that I’m going to have this tattoo for life so I have to make what I want as a tattoo that I won’t regret. I really need to hide it when I get it.

Get it in your ass.
Any marking you make on your body is stupid.
What do you think of your father, is he a dumb man? Why would he not want you to mark yourself this way unless, maybe, GASP, the old guy is right!
No, no, you are 22, you must know what is ok, get in line with the other sheeple for a tat.
Answer by ♪Music On My Mind♪Get it where you want it, you’re a grown a– woman so act like it. Yea you’re dad might be pissed, but so what? Unless you’re still living under his roof and therefore by his rules you can do what you please. I doubt he will stop loving you. Just tell him beforehand that you have made your decision and you just wanted him to know beforehand so he isn’t completely shocked when you come back with it.Answer by happegirl0403
I would recommend talking to your father about it. Just explain to him that you are an adult and at the end of the day, it’s your decision. That’s what I did with my parents. On the chance that the talk doesn’t go so well, hiding it will depending on how you dress. I’ve seen people hide tattoos on the back of their necks, inner thigh, upper thigh and on their backs. I hope this helps!Answer by Megan Arrrrr
Well, like others have mentioned, it might be a good idea to talk to your dad about this. But from my own experience, this may not be the most feasible answer.
So, I would recommend thinking of a place on your body that you normally do not show around your dad. I normally wear t-shirts, so a place like my upper arms, or my upper back/shoulder area would be great, but if you normally wear tank tops, that might be out of the question.
I’ve seen a lot of really cute thigh tattoos, but given how much women’s bodies change, you may not like that idea.
A small wrist tattoo can easily be covered by a band-aid or watch, and a foot tattoo of course can be kept hidden.
Also think about your current/future career trajectory. Depending on how conservative of a field you’ll be in, that might also eliminate places like the wrist or foot if you won’t be able to wear jewelry or need to wear fancy work shoes.
