my.life.sux.without.you: How much would a love tattoo on the wrist cost?
I’m looking to get the small word love tattoo’d on my wrist for my eighteenth birthday. How much would it cost? My boyfriend wants me to get it done at TNT’s over in Van Wert, Ohio. I’d rather get it done at Wadey’s in Sidney, Ohio for the fact that I know the owners.

A life time of lost wages and respect.
Get it where a business shirt can cover it easily.
Answer by BritneyIt depends on who you go to.Answer by Jorge Sanchez
It really depends on what the artist charges, the size, the color, and the detail of it.
I’m sure it wouldn’t be anything over $ 80, and especially if you know the owners,Answer by Andrew
Prices depend on the shop. Different places have different minimums.
If I were you, I would go to each shop and look through the tattoo artists portfolio. Look for any other word tattoos that they have done, do they look good?
You should go where you feel most comfortable, not where someone wants you to, or where you know someone.
Answer by JasmeenI agree with the previous posters. In addition, I don’t mean to scare you off but please also be prepared for the fact that the wrist is one of the most painful places to get tattoo’ed. It’s gonna hurt like hell.Answer by Elyse
As previously mentioned, it shouldn’t cost any more than 80, but be prepared to be told by your tattooer that you might want to get it probably a few points larger than what you are thinking, most artist won’t do words in a small font because that limits legibility and makes your tattoo more prone to becoming a blob of black after aging.
Oh, and the wrist actually doesn’t hurt very much at all. Mine was very tolerable, getting a tattoo directly on the bone such as the hip, ribs, or spine hurts much worse. As does getting shading, which, unless you get a bold font, you won’t need.
