My dad hates my boyfriend and makes fun of him and how he dresses. My boyfriend is emo, but he is still sweet and cuddly, so I am gonna keep him around, but i want to know how i can make my dad like him more.

You can’t get your dad to like him… Your father either likes him or not.
If you still want to be with this guy then see him when your not around your father, you also have to respect your fathers feelings …
Your father does not like him because of the way he dresses, its not because of the type of guy he is… Your father would like him if he wasn’t Emo… your Father is old schooled and does not understand this emo thing and to your father is just isn’t right…
So see your guy when your away from your dad and don’t argue with your father over it as it will get you know where…

I had the same problem. So, i asked my dad if h could comeo supper. Before he came we had a talk and I told my dad that he could be nice to him here or I can leave with him and go to the drive in. He was nice to him!
