I am currently with sky and recieving up to 1mb i am in the fibre optic area for virgin but am not sure whether the speed will be improved if i get the 10mb package. My dad is reluctant to move provider as we are getting a good price with sky and he does not use the broadband. Is there anything to assure me that i will get a good speed 🙂 🙂

I would have thought that virgin will be faster as it is cable, whereas sky will be LLU through the telephones wires.But like all these things they is no way to know until you try it.
If you contact virgin they may give you an estimate for your area, for what its worth.

The problem here is cost, sky is probably free with the tv deal.

If your PC is running slow and you want to make it faster, I recommend you to check your pc heath online first, then you can know why it is slow
