м ℓove ღ: How to convince parents to let me get a bellybutton piercing?
A couple of my friends and people I know have their bellybuttons pierced. They all say I’d look good with one because I’m not fat or anything, I’m actually pretty slim. I’m only 13, my friend got hers and she’s 14.
What should I say to my parents to convince them to let me get my bellybutton pierced? And if you convinced your parents to get you one how did you do it?

You’re way too young!! You’ll live to regret it – I did.
Tell them that your friends have their’s pierced and that your becoming more mature now so you should be able to make your own choices. Also maybe offer to pay for the piercing yourself or offer to do chores and stuff to work off the money.Answer by Nada Chance
Don’t.
Just get a little jewel or something you can stick in your belly button if you are so concerned about people seeing your navel. Getting one “because your friends got one” is just one of those teenage things you outgrow. For now, get something non-permanent. If you have that for a year or so, and you really like it, then ask your parents for permission to get something more permanent. And if you decide that it’s annoying, it catches on your jeans, and no one ever sees it anyways, then you didn’t go through a chunk of cash and discomfort and the risk of infection for something you didn’t like.
Answer by billyStart talking about how you heard that some people do there own piercing at home. Just do it in passing a couple times. Then a couple days later ask them if they think doing a piercing at home would get infected. Don’t really do it yourself you could get a really nasty infection, but if you make them think you are going to. It might work.Answer by Playswithfire95
I’d say, explain the pros and cons of it, and explain why you want one.
