j: Will this text tattoo be ugly after a few years (is it too small)?
I’m planning to tattoo this pic: on my right wrist, but I’m wondering if it will be ugly after a few years because it’s so small? The letters are ~0,7 – 1cm big and it will be 5cm wide. I’ve already talked with my tattooer and he said that it can happened, but didn’t give me any straight answer. If you have pics of text tattoos that are a few years old I’d be happy.
ok, I changed the tattoo a bit… Used a different font on the a, n and e’s. is it any better?

You dont wanna do lettering but so small because over time tattoos blur out. With font a good general rule of thumb is to not do it smaller than 60pt font size. As far as the picture you attached, if you do it the size it is in the picture the e and the a will without a doubt wind up closing in on themselves. Other letters to be concerned with are the bottoms of the n’s.

When you go to get the tattoo, they have to draw it up for you so you should have him put it on your wrist to see if you will like it. He shouldn’t have a problem with resizing it if you don’t like it.
