Find out which one YOU love doing. They all sound like great jobs now it’s up to you to decide. 🙂
Personally I would steer clear of being an artist, with this economy you’re not really going to make any kind of money out of it (and while the “starving passionate artist” stereotype sounds a lovely thing to be, in reality being poor just plain sucks). If you wanted to get into an area where you can be creative and artistic but still be able to feed yourself, graphic design is a more realistic option. In terms of career opportunities, your best bet is probably science. However, no one can make this decision for you but yourself. Look at your own strengths and weaknesses, your own likes and dislikes, where you imagine yourself being in 10 years time, the talents you have and how they could be applicable to a working environment, and make those things what help you make your decision. Hope this helps 🙂Answer by Charlotte_In_Wonderland
Your list is pulling you in completely different directions.
On one hand you want to pursue a career in law or politics.
Requiring many years of schooling, studying, and a life of hard work. It will make for a great career, financial it’s empowering, and if you enjoy the field then it’s definitely what you should do.
On another hand you’re seeking the life of an artist.
Unless someone wants to buy your paintings or you work for a company that wll require these things, it’s not much of a career, but more like an unstable job. From the artists that I’ve met, they’re more like freelancers, working odd jobs and all the while trying to make it in a world where art is so heavily criticized. If it’s what you really want though, again you should pursue it.
Science is another great field that will require hard work, dedication, and proper schooling. It’s much more stable than the first two, financially empowering, and a great help to our world.
Farming is hard work, but once you find your footing and prove that you’re decent at whichever you chose to do, then you should receive business. Many restaurants and supermarkets are always seeking freshly grown fruits and vegetables, as opposed to the inorganic ones that are sold today.
As for cattle and horses, I have a friend that raises and sells thoroughbred horses for a living. He seemed to make a lot of money for them, but he said business had been very slow lately and not many people were looking for horses to buy. I’m not to sure about cattle.
In the end it’s up to you. Choosing a stable job, in my opinion, is a safe route, but later on you don’t want to wake up every morning and dred another day of work. You should love your job, and although it’s rare that people end up doing what they truly love, it’s still a possibility.
Anyway, I hope I helped. Good luck to you!
