How painful is getting a tattoo on the shoulder?

Kim: How painful is getting a tattoo on the shoulder?
I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for a couple years now but I was always wondering if certain places for tattoos would hurt more than others. I want to get a tattoo on my right shoulder blade but I don’t know if it would be unbearably painful or not. Any advice or insight?

depends on your pain tolerance… It’s not that bad though, near the bone hurts more than ne thing else… It kinda feels like someone poking a bad sunburn

I recently got a tattoo in the center of my upper back.
Over the bone it hurt alot!
any advice? Get it where you want it most, youre going to have this forever.
Bring in an ipod with you and listen to the angriest music you have, that’s what helped me.
