Mike: What do tattoo artist use to put the trace on you before they start tattooing?
I went in with my friend to get a tattoo and before he started doing the real deal he put a trace of the tattoo on her to make sure it was in line and to be sure she liked how it looked and stuff. Does anyone know how they do that and what they use? I would like to do that at home with a few ideas I have for myself. Thanks 🙂

first a clean smooth surface, then apply a base for the pattern to adhere to (stencil stay, green soap, clear deodorant), pat off access, then rub on your stencil you made with carbon-paper or carbon-pencil. let it sit for about 5-10 minutes.
They’re called Spirit thermal processing sheets. They cost about thirty bucks for a box of fifty. You can get them online.
