One in particular is Deut 12;21. However the idea of someone being chosen is one who submits to God Yahweh and the Mitzvah law. It can apply to anyone.
Also to add in, the Israelites being God’s chosen in the past has absolutely nothing to do with Judaism being practiced today. Because there is no proof that anyone is blood descendants of the Biblical Israelites.

It’s to prolong the faith so it doesn’t die out. If you think god favours your religion, you’re going to marry someone of that same religion, and teach your kids your beliefs.

To the one who mentioned Mormons:
That isn’t true. They were the first church to allow black people to preach in front of white congregations. They were one of the first churches to speak out against slavery (that was one of two reasons they were so heavily persecuted in Missouri). As for the native American comment, that doesn’t make any sense.
God loves all of His children equally and infinitely. He does have a specific group of His children (the seed of Abraham) whom He chooses as His leaders and missionaries in this world but he doesn’t consider them any better than any other.
For example, if you had ten siblings and two of them were really good at math but the rest were not (they were good at something else), which ones would you ask to help you with your math homework? You would choose the ones who were good at math not because you loved them more or thought they were better but because they would do the job better.
Heavenly Father put those who showed that they were good leaders before this life into the group of “the descendants of Abraham” in this life.
God favors none of His children.
