People who profess to be Athiest or are actually Athiests?

I’ve encountered people who claim to be Athiest but upon closer examination are simply frustrated with religion in general but still have a belief in a God, but claiming athiesm somehow eases their conscience from their obligation to show some sort of worhip.

I think the number is larger today than it was last year.
I believe the number will be even larger next year.
One reason children aren’t being taught about God like it was 30 years ago.
Are we better off today because of it? Are the children safer in school since God has been taken out? Will the children be safer next year?
We are becoming a Godless nation, and will suffer the consequences for it soon.
