MP: When Filling out the marriage date on my petition for spouse, what is the marriage date?
In vietnam, before i can marry in the catholic church i have to get a marriage certificate from vietnam. I recently signed for that, but am doing the marriage ceremony in a catholic church a couple months later. When filling out my petition for my spouse what do i fill is as the marriage date, Im confused if i suppose to use the date of the wedding ceremony in the catholic church or the date of signing papers in vietnam?

I would list the date of the signing of the papers in Vietnam and I would attach an explaination sheet with the date for the wedding ceremony in the catholic church on a separate sheet.
