Hellfriar: Christians: How is it loving for god to allow his child to get killed when it wasn’t necessary?
Basically you are saying he allowed his son to be tortured in order to show you how loving he is. But the act of allowing torture is not loving, so it negates his purpose. If you show people you are loving by being non-loving, then are you really loving?

God allows a lot of suffering, but when a child dies she/he is immediately in the presence of God. So she/he is in the better place.
We all die one way and we do not know when and how. God asks us to be ready
Answer by SchnebIt was necessary, that’s the point.
Matthew 26:39 & 42
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”
Isaiah 53:10
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
John 3:17-18
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

It is a perfectly loving thing to do, if you’re looking at it with a biblical definition of love. Also remember that it was Christ who made the ultimate decision to put himself upon the cross. He could have recanted.Answer by Super sapien
GOD doesn’t allowed human to kill his own child, Abraham thought that when GOD instructed him to go to the mountain, he taught that GOD wanted him to sacrifice the child but actually GOD wanted to bless the child ,do you comprehend that atheistAnswer by david_carringtonjr
Good question. Supposedly Jesus had to pay “our” debt of sin. But why, when the creditor was his own father? Why not just forgive the debt? Doesn’t god make the rules? The myth is idiotic.Answer by Ronald V
one can give without loving but no one can love without giving, and giving your son for love is a supreme sacrifice for you are giving all you can afford. Jesus didn’t die totally for He rose from dead three days later proving triumph over death. God is love and He loves all of us.Answer by fancier_rmv04
Because it was the only way for humans to get close to God after man banishment from the Garden of Eden. Jesus is a perfect and sinless person and His death was necessary. There was no other way.Answer by Wisdom Tormented ©
I would not think God could commit such a heinous crime against a worshipped and much loved figure. There are in all probability other mitigating circumstances when applied as contributory factors paint a slightly more accurate picture although probably as unpalatable in terms of mans need to be governed by a Dictatorial Omnipotent Father Figure. I would rather it be seen as a rousing of negative dark energy causing the rallying of the rabble in defiant hate against the Christ. This is easily effected in modern day times. The crowd is largely when led by the unprincipled tempestuous and malleable, used as a tool by one offender against another opponent. Free will is man able to think prior to acting and creating with moral and fair fortitude his own paradise by inspiring love and kindness about him, than an ignorance and hatefulness. A mob rallied by the evil force of satan caused the barbaric murder of The Christ and John the Baptist. Who was that hand is the question.Answer by exodust20
Jesus lived the Law perfectly. something none of us can do. The perfect adherence to these laws is mandated. So, as you can see, we are caught between a rock and a hard place. Yet God out of love provided a way for you to be saved. It would be unloving to not to have cared to do so. Do you not think that it would be the most ultimate form of love, but to die in the place of someone you love?Answer by I tellz Da TrUtH!
Please dont be ignorant. For god so loved the world that he gave his oly begotten son. God gave his son to pay for the sin of the world. But Jesus is with god so its not like he went to hell or perished he went home with the lord… Try reading the bible..Answer by Sheik Omar
Peace and blessings be upon you, my friend.
I am, unfortunately, not so advanced in my studies of Gods Will[may His Holy Name be Blessed], nor am I one who can pretend to be more knowledgeable than the Scriptures.
Those who wrote them were divinely inspired and I am nowhere close to being their match.
But, if my memory serves me right, isn’t it true that God [the Most Merciful, the Most Beneficent] gave Man the Gift of Free Will?
And, is not also true that it was by His own Free Will that Jesus [blessed be His Holy Name] chose not to accept the offer of Pontius Pilate to save Him?
Verily, He chose to give us all the example in His own Sacrifice [blessed be His Name] and, our people believe that God [blessed be His Holy Name] did not allow His Greatest and Most beloved Messenger to come to such a foul end, but, instead, gave Judas the last chance to pay for his sins.
However, you seem to miss the point here that it was the people who were so blind that they couldn’t see His Divine Glory [may Peace and Blessings be upon Him] and cried for His Torment and Death.
They shall, however, see the error of their ways when they are called before Our Lord [the Most Merciful, the Most Beneficent] at whose right sits Jesus [blessed be His Holy Name] upon His rightful throne. Then, shall these men who have mocked Him [Peace and Blessings be upon Him] learn of their grave error.
Who am I to question the Truth?
I would be thrice blessed just to be able to see it.
May God grant you Peace.
Answer by ElijahuShalom Hellfryer,
Ok, good one again thanks for the really good questions.
In the Temple a sacrifice was made to G-d to atone for sin. G-d is well,… G-d! With one word He brought all into existence. What can we really do to atone for sin against that powerful a being that always was and always will be? A blood sacrifice surely but whose a sheep, a dove, a goat? Oh sure that’ll fix it — NOT!
The only thing that can do it is the blood of G-d Himself! See that is why Jesus/Y’shua came in the flesh. That is why Jesus/Y’shua was begotten not made. Born of a woman, think medical. Who’s blood flows in the baby’s veins even while it is still in the womb?
THE FATHER’S BLOOD!
So who’s blood was really shed on the cross @ Golgotha?
For the cheep seats out there — G-d shed His own blood as a sacrifice for our sins. Y’shua/Jesus was the first Messiah/Mashiach! The Lamb of G-d.
Here is the bonus for you all. The Lamb is now a Lion and is also ha Mashiach/the Messiah and He is coming soon with an Iron rod to rule. So are you ready for Him or are you ready for the rod of iron?
Getting scared? Good! Repent and heed the voice of one who is a witness in the desert.
Shalom,
Eli
