b29349: How many times in life do you get a chance to “Fall In Love”?

Infinite. I mean, if we’re just falling in love, you could fall in love with any one or any thing at any time
Love is not an unmanned dingy in the middle of the ocean, pushed about by the wind wherever that wind may blow. Perhaps it will be carried away by the current, and blown into the rocks by the wind; who can really know?–this is not love. Perhaps today you will fall in love, perhaps tomorrow you will fall out of it. Such love is shallow, but all too common.
True love does is not fallen into–it is walked into. True love is not just stumbled upon as if you tripped over a stump and there it was. True love is a large and powerful boat, powered by a well tuned engine. It has a heavy anchor and large sail for backup up when times get rough. Love is boat that takes direction from it’s captain, who controls where that boat will go, and does so a purpose.

Now I wish I could say that there will be a last time and once that true love is found, the quest ends. But this is not the case. Some one is almost always left behind who has to choose to either love another or to not love at all.
I have found a love strong enough twice in my life that would have enough to last a life time. But in the first she found another, and in the second her time on earth was over. Now I am looking for that third time, and in doing so hope to stop that quest with some one who returns the love I offer as long as we can share our lives.
