Anna Kate: What’s the difference in “falling in love” and being “in love?”?
Is there one?
and do you HONESTLY believe that people younger than fiffteen CAN’T fall in love?
I’m fourteen and if it’s not love I’m feeling towards this guy, then I couldn’t possibly see WHAT it is.
No, it’s not infatuation either.
I’ve heard that ’till I’m blue in the face.
So, what do you think?

You fall into a pool…or you are in the pool. What’s the difference? One is the act of you getting into the pool, the other you are already there. Falling in love is the act or process of it happening…being in love is when you’ve already fallen (you are there).
Yeah, I think you are a number of years too young to understand what romantic love is….but puppy love can still feel strong. When you are a mature adult, and experience that deep, heart felt romantic love, and look back to how you feel today…you’ll understand the difference. It happens to most of us…what you feel now is a precursor to how you’ll feel when you’re in love years down the road…it’s just a sample of how great it can feel (and how bad it can hurt when it ends).
