I love your point- you are reading recipe sites but theres always a theme, or a blog, or something, you don’t get it, its kind of not welcoming and such. I KNOW how that is, I understand that completely, and this is why Im attaching this link.
It is a REALLY lovely site, with lots of recipes.
They have:
easy recipes
vegetarian recipes
200 calories or under recipes
summer easy dinner recipes
etc
you can cross reference bu cuisine- indian, spanish, thai,
or by special event- birthday, summer BBQ, brunch, etc
There are not SO many recipes that you get overwhlemed.
HEre is the page, it is the “cuisines” section of the site
as you can see they have french, thai, moroccan etc
if you look at the top of the page, you will see “cuisines”, “occasions”, “special diets” ( low salt, nut free etc), and “favourites”( pot roast, shepherds pie etc).
THis is one of my favourite pages- I went into the “cuisines” and looked for “curry recipes”,
and here is the curry recipe page.
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/recipes/favourites/curry/
you can get vegetarian curry , or just curry, I LOVE curry, it is healthy and tasty.
ALL these recipes have colour pictures, and are labelled “easy”, they have few ingredients and are all quick(ish) to make.
I love this site, they really make you WANT to cook.
My faves on this site-
easy Thai prawn curry
spicey root vegetable curry
Sicilian style fish stew ( in low fat recipes)
