a lot has been the same across generations
but in 50’s 60’s ect they had a lot less social status in the world and they had many more restrictions and almost everything they did was questioned
today a lot of people think that teenagers are a fountain of new technology and info today
Well growing up in the 60s and before, you were treated like a child for longer. we all looked older with bouffants and beehives but a 13 year old girl still played with dolls etc. It was more child then adult – the inbetween years were less recognized and even when you started work at 15-17 you could be expected to give your unopened paypack to your mother!! there was definetely more respect for elders and children were not seen or heard and created their own entertainment, on the whole, very simply. it was a better time for most.
