I can’t speak about any other religion besides Christianity, because I don’t know enough about them to feel certain. But I believe that Christianity as a whole, and Catholicism in particular needs to modernize itself. Enough with non-sense stories about Adam and Eve eating an apple and dooming all of mankind. Those are fairy tales. People don’t take it seriously anymore for the same reasons people no longer believe in Zeus and Greek or Roman mythology. As societies become more educated, it’s obvious that those things are not real.Answer by Journey

Only those who hope to profit from them would ask the question in such a self-serving way. (Feel free to point that out to your professor.)
The Bible has remained of interest generation after generation because it’s open-ended enough (the King James version is) for a flexibility of interpretation that the Holy Spirit can use for the benefit of each individual in each stage of their life.
And therein is the answer. Stick with the Bible, the purest sources possible.Respect the Holy Spirit. Be ready to grow, not only with the times, which are Really about to change rapidly, but with the increased understanding of God and His will which the Holy Spirit will teach you as he is poured out on the earth just before the End.
Answer by Sold up in 2007There’s a possibility that something out there is manipulating what is happening on earth. Recognise that this is an intelligence that we don’t understand, not something spiritual.
Secondly, drop the fairy stories and the revelations, lets build a case for a religion based on facts and evidence not faith and fairy tales.
Answer by thebigm57Wow this is a loaded question…
I think that one of the main things religions can do to remain relevant is to stop saying that their point of view is the right one and allow for more critical thinking within their ranks.
A second thing they can do is focus more on actually HELPING others rather than supporting their institutions. The monies wasted on various clergy is insane and we as a species would be far better served without Big Churches that cost millions to build for the Glory of God (if there is one). Let’s focus our energy on treating one another regardless of belief system with respect, flexibility, and helping hands (keeping a smile on our faces as we help will be nice to–NO STRINGS–you don’t have to convert to get help). PEACE & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
