Jesus did lots of healing on the Sabbath. But it is important to know that Christmas wasn’t celebrated in Jesus’s day.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?
The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.
They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?
He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.
Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Answer by Israel YsraylAs one who follows the Messiah, one should not pick a particular holiday just to help others. As a believer in the Messiah, we should help people when ever we get a chance, that’s if your time permits you to help others and if your financially capable.
In regards to Christmas, this Holiday is purely pagan. This Christmas holiday is no where mentioned in the Holy Scriptures (The Bible)
1.Jesus (Yeshua) his real name in Hebrew cannot be
supported through scripture as him being born on December
25
2. A follower of the Messiah, one should never observe him
through a tree that is decked out with silver and gold
trimmings, just like it was mentioned in Jeremiah 10:3-4
(King James)
Verse 3:
For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
Verse 4:
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
As one would notice in this verse it’s all relation to a custom that derived from paganistic roots and Christmas holiday is derived from pagan roots
3. Helping others should be the same way as it was observed
through the Messiah as according to scripture.
Here are some scripture that would answer your questions.
Proverbs 22:9
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.
Proverbs 25:21
If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
Psalm 41:1
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Mark 12:31
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Psalm 82:3
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
