Joe S: What is the value of a baseball signed by the 1950 NY Yankees?
I recently came into possesion of a baseball that is signed by numerous members of the 1950 New York Yankees baseball team. I am a diehad Yankees fan and was estatic when I got it. The ball is signed by all of the greats: Joe DiMaggio,Yogi Berra,Phil Rizzuto,Johnny Mize, & Whitey Ford. There are also a bunch of others as well.

I’ll give you $ 50 for it.. But honestly there is no set price for an item as rare as that so its only worth as much as a seller is willing to pay. My guess is $ 10K – $ 50K…
The first thing you should do is verify the authenticity of the signatures. I would believe Rizzuto, Yogi, Mize and Ford. But Joe D. was a very private man and did not sign many autographs and a lot of forgeries of his signature have been found over the years. His signature wasn’t that difficult to fake. If it is authentic, in my opinion it is priceless. Of course I am bias (I’m a life long Yankee Fan and Joe D. is My favorite player of all time.)Answer by Slappy LaRue
It is an old ball, you’re probably going to have to get a new ball signed by the 2009 Yankees and destroy that old ball.Answer by adudethatsstrange

First you should get it authenticated/graded.
Here is PSA Authentication:
https://www.psacard.com/
They authenticate/grade baseball cards, autographed baseballs. autographed pictures and autograph jeresys.
If you get it Authenticated it will be worth alot more, also shop it around to baseball memorabilia collectors and baseball card shop owners as it will draw alot of interest.
Make sure you get it Authenticated because you will get more money for it.
