Can I wear a rugby helmet to protect from cauliflower ear training in jiujitsu or wrestling?

I would very much prefer to wear a rugby helmet than a classic wrestling ear protector. My question is, will the rugby helmet be enough? or would I still be prone to getting the cauli? Thanks.

It’s not called a “rugby helmet”, it’s simply called head gear or a scrum cap. I can’t see why you couldn’t, it’s designed to stop cauliflowering in scrums, so it should work for wrestling.
