Joshua: What is the christian take on Judaism and Israel?
I have met many with conflicting views, I am curious from your scriptures what is the view on Judaism.

God uses the 144,000 jewish men in the final book of the New Testament.
I guess since God is still ‘for’ these people, – who am I to argue with that?

At first, Peter and his group thought only Jews were to receive salvation through Christ.
Later, Paul showed them that the Gentiles were also invited.
The situation with Israel today, didn’t exist when the Bible was written. But they are still invited to the party.
We say, Christ is coming (again). Funny, they say Christ is coming. Not a whole lot of difference.

From the Mormon church we believe in the literal gathering of Israel. We share some similar beliefs. They have/had a temple, we have 130 temples around the world. We do not worship in the temples and not all Mormons can go inside the temples.

I find it hilarious that one can stake a land claim based upon a collection of ancient myths that started out as the tarot, became the torah, and later the Old Testament… I’m laying claim to Disney World based upon a couple paragraphs out of a Mickey Mouse Wizard book… and if they don’t give me what I want I’ll claim they’re antiMickeyites and sue them.
