What is the best restaurant in Georgia to take in mountain views while you eat?

Melissa A: What is the best restaurant in Georgia to take in mountain views while you eat?
I have been looking for a restauarant ever since we moved here three years ago that has incredible mountain views from the dining room. The best one I’ve found is at Amicalola Falls in the state park restaurant. Needless to say, the food at the state park isn’t memorable. Do you have suggestions? It really doesn’t matter to me where it is.

There are no mountains in Georgia.

I don’t know about mountain views — but if you’d like scenic go to Rays on the River and get a table facing the Chattahoochee. It’s very pretty. Also, ask for a window seat at Canoes. Great food at both places, by the way.

Well I don’t necessarily have a restaurant to suggest, however if you are familiar with Amicalola then you must try staying at one of Helen Ga’s cabins. My husband and I have rented for a weekend a luxury cabin from Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. They come complete with a jacuzzi(indoors), a hot tub (outdoors) , bar-b-q grill, fire place, pool/air hockey table, WI FI, satellite cable and more. They have some cabins with waterfall and mountain views. The hot tub itself has a view of the mountains out on the deck. It’s awesome and for about the cost of a fancy downtown Atlanta hotel stay, you can get all that for 1 weekend. My point is, if you don’t mind just picking up some take-out at a nearby restaurant to take back to the cabin or cooking a meal at the cabin itself, you can be sure to get a romantic scenic dinner with great views.
