Serena: What is a good exotic pet that can live comfortably in a 10 gallon?
What is an easy to maintain pet that can live in a 10 gallon tank for it’s entire life, I already have hermit crabs and fish. I want a pet that is fairly easy to maintain, doesn’t require a lot of my time, and is not very expensive. I want a pet that isn’t very common.

Sugar Glider. But, you need to get them as a baby (pet store) …they won’t bond very well at all if you just get one from someone else…ALSO, they are nocturnal and need play at night!Answer by animalhouser07
a anole, a grass lizard, a tarantula, a hermit crab, a fire bellied toad, a clawed frog, guppies, any small tropical fish really small, and two-three dwarf clawed frog.
every thing i put up cost up to 15 dollars and less
Answer by ratlover_littlemonsterHmm.. you could go for something like a scorpion. Unfortunately they are a little expensive to buy.. but pretty much cover the rest of the criteria.
If you’re on the UK, you could look here for inspiration (then search care sheet)

As a point, tarantulas are best kept in perspex/plastic tanks, not glass, no keep that in mind if your tank is glass.

Fire-bellied toads are good. I have two in a 10 gallon tank. They are very interesting to watch and very unique.Answer by Yexalen
ONE Leopard gecko will live their lives in a ten gallon. They are nocturnal though but that is a good thing because UVB lighting (required for day active lizards) is expensive.
Green Anoles are small but only one for a 10 gallon.
Spiders are another option but some people are a little skiddish with spiders.
Do research on the Leopard Gecko, They are lizard that is most commonly kept as pets. They are really easy to care for and let you handle them after a while.
Green Anoles will not let you handle them and can be more expensive but still pretty common.
Do the research see which one you like most.
Answer by Zachary KA 10 gallon would be too small for any exotic reptile. I would go with a tarantula. There are tarantulas that pet stores get in that are blue and some are orange, they are called “colbalt” and “starburst” tarantulas. Not many people keep these, so if you are looking to be unique, I would go with those.
Warning though, they arnt a pet that you could play with.
