What are the best “rapid rescore” sites?

Crazie1326: What are the best “rapid rescore” sites?
I am desperately seeking to get a first time home loan and am having troubles with my credit score. Does anyone know if the “rapid re-score” really works, or is it just another hoax? Does anyone know of any legitimate credit repair places/sites that work?? Help….from a single mom who needs to move fast!

There is a way to give your score a boost for a short period of time.
I can’t tell it here – everyone would do it.
The score gets a boost for a very short period of time.
This is something you might do with someone that checks your score only.

But mortgage companies including FHA will review your reports in detail.
They will not be fooled by a score.
The rapid score would work if you need an apartment and a landlord only checks your score…

Answer by Life Is Better After Retirement
Rapid re-scoring is usually used by mortgage compaines to speed along mortgage approvals and on time closing.
It works like an instant update to the credit file. WHY is because: The applicant needs to pay down a couple of credit cards to satisfy the underwriter. They pay off the cards and then instead of having to wait 30 or more days for the credit report to update, they do a rapid re-score and usually have the new result in about 72 hours. The cost is from 85-100 bucks.

There is no such a thing as credit repair. You can clean up your file yourself, by getting items off that should have fallen off due to age.
Be sure any collections are yours and not older than 7 years from the default date.

I hope I have helped you understand better.

A rapid rescore might work to rapidly make your score lower, but not higher. Credit scores cannot be raised quickly. The only direction in which they can move quickly is downward. The only speed at which they can move upward is slowly. Attempting to move a credit score upward quickly will make it stay the same or go down.

There are no legitimate credit repair places/sites that work quickly. The only way to repair your credit is to do it yourself and slowly.
