Bigleon: How Does Government Assistance such as “Liheap” Effect Credit Score?
I have a Roommate who refuses to get help(because she is doing fine and me and my gf are struggling). Her reasoning behind it is. “It will effect my credit score” So far I can find Absolute no proof of this claim. If someone could debunk/prove this. It would be much appreciated.
In-case this is relevant;
We live in Kansas, and are 5 people living in one small apartment.
Back Ground:
We just got a 200 dollar gas bill and a 135 dollar Electric bill. (Me and my gf together only make 700 a month, so added with rent, comes to roughly 400 in just rent, not to mention car bills etc…
Umm, Can you add any official resources that say one way or the other
Well we live a block away from campus and “landlords” like to jack up the price the closer you get.

It shouldn’t effect credit score at all, you must be living in a very expensive apartment for the rent and others to come to $ 400 for you and your girlfriend.
