Does one need to study all 3000 religions before selecting the best religion? Or is just accepting the religion of ones parents the best way to pick a religion?

Ask yourself if any religion appeals to educated, intelligent converts?

Does any religion have universal appeal? Has it successfully found adherents amongst all cultures and classes of people?

does it change its beliefs over time to satisfy modern man or does it believe to be of divine origin and therefore irreformable?

Does it have a track record of improving individual lives and societies?

Did you ever stop to think that all religions are irrational in some way? I would go by science and logic rather than religion. Try being an atheist.
