PaliChick: What happens in a divorce if one spouse leaves with all of their belongings?
During a divorce if one spouse leaves the home with all of their belongings, do they have a right to re-enter the home? Especially when there is a divorce proceeding, and papers had already been issued. Especially in the state of New York.

No they cannot reenter the home until the divorce goes thru and all assets have been divided and you can ask for an escort to do it. Its called abandoment unless you invite them back in.
