KarenCG: My DVD drive is missing under “My Computer”. How do I get it back?
I have an IBM Thinkpad T20 laptop. I checked under “My Computer” and there is no DVD drive “E”. I went to the “Device Manager” and there is a yellow exclaimnation point for the DVD drive device. I right-clicked on the device and and clicked “Properties”, under “Device Status” it states that “Windows cannot intialize the device driver for this hardware” and then it states “Code 37”
How can I get the driver back on my laptop. For sure I know it was there 2 days ago

Code 37
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
Recommended resolution
The driver returned failure from its DriverEntry routine. Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.
On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
