Assume that you are working as a computer technician for a company with a large network. You are assigned to determine what is wrong with an employee’s computer and repair it. You suspect that the computer is not properly connected to the network. Describe the troubleshooting steps you would take to test your theory that the computer is not physically or logically connected to the network, and describe how you would resolve the resolve the various reasons for the computer not connecting to the network.

Answer by HiIf it’s not connecting right. Make sure that the power/whatever is turned on. Look at the router and make sure it’s not the router having the problem. Sometimes you should just restart it and that fixes the proglem. Make sure it’s not your internet service provider. If you’re talking about a “network” meaning other computer are connected and working but that one computer isn’t, try the “troubleshooting” program that should turn on once you have a webpage that can’t connect (diagnostic program built into windows/macs). That sometimes tells you what could be the problem.
Since I know nothing about networks and just my home network. Sometimes viruses have made it so I couldn’t connect to the internet (I know I should be able to connect but the website kept acting like it was disconnected from the internet)
