Is it bad to change a nostril piercing after it is first pierced?

Toni: Is it bad to change a nostril piercing after it is first pierced?
I pierced my nose with a piercing earring and I am afraid it might fall out, or something along those lines. And i have other nose rings, but should i risk taking the piercing earring out to change it?

i think your supposed to wait like 4-6 weeks, but since you pierced it yourself i dont know why your so worried about it, that would cause more harm than changing the ring too soon

Yeah dont take it out…… It will either get infected or clode up really quickly… I wouldnt do it

shouldn’t take it out. shouldn’t pierce it yourself either. but, I would go into your doctor to get it thoroughly cleaned.

YES okay i got my nose pierced by a perfessional and and u cant change it for 3 – 6 MONTHS which sucks i cant even change mine .

IT WILL CLOSE AND IT WILL BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT BACK IT WITHOUT IT GETTING INFECTED WAIT 3-6 MONTHS THEN CHANGE IT .

Yes you should change it.
An earring shouldn’t be in your nose.

an earring isn’t a big deal because your nose is a lot like your upper ear cartilage. if you already pierced it yourself, you might as well change it yourself. if you can wait a few weeks, then wait. but if not just make sure you’re clean about it.

and clean your nose with ANTIBACTERIAL soap and water only, no alcohol or peroxide
