noleena!: How to tell my mom I want to start wearing thongs?
(I am 16, by the way) So, I decided that I want to, and that I am ready to start wearing thongs. However, I don’t know to to tell my mom. I can’t even say the word ‘thong’ around her. How do I even bring up the topic, and then get her to agree to let me?
I need to tell her because if she happens to see one in the laundry or something, she is not going to be very pleased with me.

Tell your mom your 16 years old she cant rule you forever.
But if you have to dont wear any underwear and when she ask you about just be like “Yup im not wearinq any and plus not wearinq any makes me ready to sum form my bf. Great idea mom !” lol

But boy shorts dont give a visble pantyline or lace underwear.

just start wearing them
and put them in the laundry then when ur parents are doing the laundry
and they see the thong.
tell them why u like you like to wear them
BUT
don’t bring up guys/boys

just tell her that they are comfortable or something

talk about how you noticed how tacky it is when girls have massive pantie lines under their jeans/skirts/dresses…. its not very feminine or classy looking to have huge pantie lines. Tell her you won’t wear them everyday…just when your wearing a dress or skirt. And then that way you can kind of get her used to it before you start wearing them all the time! And she’ll get used to it.

Also with thongs you don’t have to worry about your panties moving around and being uncomfortable…because you can’t get a wedgie if you already have one! ^-^

Ask her for a chat, bring it up by asking if you can go shopping for some new “stuff”…then go from there. Maybe mention how your friends wear them (lie if you want) and that you’d like to try them as you feel your underwear isn’t as “mature” as you feel =]
or just go shopping on your own, buy a couple, wear them then put them in the wash like a normal pair of pants, she might not even care/notice much (: and if she says, i see you bought new underwear…just act casual and say “yep i did ^^”

i know it can be embarassing explan to your mom you feel embarassed wearing underwear where you can see your underwear line and explain that all your friends wear them…..another question do you really want to where them there not the most comfortablest…hood luck girl.

well if you are shopping with her go into the section and tell her you need new underwear.. then say oh these are cute and pick up a thong and be like can i get it? good luck

I know it may seem impossible to talk o your mom, but try. Being a mom, I would like to her my daughters thoughts, even the weird ones. Just tell her the reasons you want to wear them (panty lines and such).

Don’t tell your mom you want to start wearing thongs, ask her. Say Mom would it be alright if I started to wear thongs? Her response would be no (probably) But don’t get upset. Say Mom look, I am 16 and in 2 years I am going to leave home and start wearing them so saying no now doesn’t me you can control this forever. I am going to wear them and I just thought it would be the right thing if I asked you.

its just underwear, do you tell you mom the underswear you get everytime you buy it? no, haha. just when she finds it in the laundry then just tell her its underwear? why should she be mad. my mom saw and laughed and told me there uncomfortable but whatever lol.

Just start wearing them..tell her that you dislike seeing your panty lines when you wear tight pants or a clingy dress..she’ll understand,she’s a woman.

I totally understand, really embarrassing right?

Go to the mall with some of your friends and just grab a few there.

If you’re too nervous to tell her, but don’t want her to see it in the laundry, wash it in the shower when you go in to take a shower, that way she won’t see.

There are also two other ways that I know of.

One – If you two are going shopping just say mom can I get a thong? If she says no, just reply, I was just kidding I mean who would want to wear one!

Two – If she no and you two are shopping together put one in the pile and distract her when the people are ringing up the underwear and stuff. If she happens to see it say something like “ew I don’t know how that got in there let me go put it back.”
