playdoh1986: How to introduce a cat to a kitten?
Hey guys!
I have an 8 year old female Maine Coon. I will temporarily be keeping a 3 month old kitten for about 1.5 months. I was wondering; what’s the best way to introduce the kitten to make this temporary transition go smoothly?
My Maine Coon, she’s never been fond of other animals. She has been bred once, and she was GREAT to her own kittens. But she has never liked ANY other cats, or dogs.
I was just wondering about some general tips to make this go smoothly. Or any personal experiences!

Well my cat is good with his kitten playmate, even though he hisses and growls at her sometimes i just brought her home yesterday so its natural but with your cat I would definatly keep them seperated and then switch where they are so they can smell each other.
