How much does it cost to live in a motel?

I am thinking to live in a motel for long term if it’s cheaper than just rent a apartment myself in Florida.

Have anyone ever lived in motel before?
Is week or monthly rate different than rate per nights?

I know it’s depend on a motel but I just want to know in general.

It is crazy expensive. i have grew up in a motel.
lets see, a room average is about 50 bucks a night. thats about 350 a week and about 1400 bucks a month… thats not including all your other expenses like food and stuff. it is so much cheaper to get an apartment. plus, motels are so loud and you never have peace and quiet. then when you are ready to get out of a motel and get your own place, it is very hard to save up the money due to you paying every night for a room.. so you will never get out.. i know from experience… i think your better off with a house or apartment.. good luck
