only if its bought after you clear security
Yes, and it doesn’t have to be purchased after security. The only food item that needs to be purchased after security is liquid over three ounces, i.e. bottle of water or soda or whatever.Answer by Jonas

Most foods are okay, but you can’t bring liquids/gels over 3 oz. and no gel packs to keep food cold. You should double-check with your airline first. Also, try to bring snacks that dn’t have a lot of excess packaging or waste (apples, bananas, grapes etc. are great). They inspected my chili last time when I flew from VA to NH! LOL, better to be safe than sorry.Answer by r.c.
No, but you are ALLOWED to bring food on an AIRPLANE.Answer by Duke
Yeah you can bring food, as long as the TSA is ok with it and it can’t be a gel type of liquid. For e.g.- I hate airplane food so I pack my own food just make sure it doesn’t go bad. And another thing if your food gets cold you could ask the air hostesses to warm it up in the on board microwave.

Answer by EdinYes you are. No liquids or gels of 3 ounces though.
I recommend not bring anything like a bag of chips, I once brought on a bag and up in flight, it puffed up like a balloon! My brother and I started laughing when we opened it and it made the loudest pop and freaked everyone out!
