Gobble Gobble Gobble! (Just kiddin! Turkish, Turkey, get it?) Hee heeeeee. Okay so really, in Turkish it is, “Noeliniz kutlu olsun.” (Translated means: “Merry Old Noel”) Happy New Year is: “Yeni yiliniz kutlu olsun.”

Since the majority of Turks understands Greek, I can tell you how you say it in Greek (in case nobody with answer inTurkish appears !). It is “Kala Christugena ke kalo neo etos”.

Answer by Irmak
Merry Christmas = Yılbaşın kutlu olsun.
Happy new year = Mutlu yıllar.

Christmas or new year is written in Turkish as Yılbaşı..Merry and happy are the same. So you can say Yılbaşın kutlu olsun (It means I celebrate your Christmas) or Mutlu yıllar (happy years) in Turkish..When we come to their spelling…

Yılbaşın kutlu olsun : Yılbishın kutlu olsun. (I can’t do asomething to the ı and read the letters as their English alphabet pronouncations)

Mutlu yıllar : Mutlu yıllir (You see, most of the letters don’t change because in Turkish the words are said as their writings and again read the letters as their English alphabet pronouncations)

I hope I helped. Have a nice day 🙂

merry christmas= mutlu noeller
happy new year=mutlu yıllar or yeni yılın(ız) kutlu olsun

Answer by the rain baron
Merry Christmas = Mutlu Noeller (Moot-loo No-elle-lare)
Happy New Year = Mutlu Yillar (Moot-loo Yil-luhr)
(the i is a non-spotted i so you have to read it like the sound in the word “grudge” between the “g” and the “r”. say it slowly and you’ll recognize..)
