if you did see that sign before then u might wanna make sure that itz connected properly. if u had never seen that with canon sd630 then u need not to worry about that. you know to be honest i have never seen that when i connected a camera, and you know wat, trust me just unpluggin the usb will not corrupt the camera. i have delt with 3-4 in less than a year, and i have had no problem with that watsoever.
hope everything works out for u.
All you need to do is shut the camera off before unplugging it. If you notice, when you plug the camera in and it’s turned off, the computer does not even recognize anything being plugged in. As soon as you turn it on, that’s when the computer recognizes it. So just shut the camera off before unplugging the USB cord and you will be fine!Answer by Bungie
If everything is plugged in and on.
Bringing back “safely remove hardware” sign:
Right click blue Task bar at bottor of screen:
Click Properties:
Task Bar and Start Menu Properties Window appears:
Click Customize (near bottom of window):
Customize Notification Window Appears:
Find your desired notification and adjusts setting or just click restore defaults.
Managing Hardware:
Start: My Computer: View System Information: Hardware: Device Manager: Find your device (Should be under Universal Serial Bus Controllers) and trouble shoot it.
With canon cameras connected to the computer you will not find a safely remove hardware sign. Turn off the camera and unplug the wires. I have the canon sd600.
