Josh: How do I get my dad to stop singing and dancing at inappropriate times?
Whenever my family talks about somthing my dad will start to sing about the subject and start dancing. How do I get him to understand when and when it’s not appropriate to sing and dance?

Dont worry, my dad used to be like that when i was 13. If he does that then just be serious face. dont look at him, ignore and just say stuff like can you be a little more machore please? Dancing like that is not being a proper gentlemen and it makes me feel shamed to have you be related to me when you do that. Get it right. Learn your manners.

my mom is still like that and im 21 i been tellin her but she wont listen so maybe ur dad is like my mom their “insanity keeps their sanity” lol

He can sing and dance in his own house if he wants to. Why should it bother you? It is his way of interacting and his business. Why should he stop being himself because you don’t like it. Be more tolerant of his personality. He isn’t hurting anyone just being playful.

I think that it’s so cute that he does that. Would you rather he has a depressed or angry personality? I’m sure not.
Just laugh with him and then ask him when he’s done being goofy he needs to listen and pay attention.
