hire the A-Team
If you were really scammed, the name is fake and the address is an empty lot and the IP address is someone else’s computer running a trojan that allows the scammer to control it without the owner’s knowledge.
In general, if you have actually nailed someone who is in the same country as you, then you may have some recourse. If it was internet fraud, many states define that as a felony even where the same deceptive business practice in person might be a misdemeanor.
I am a programmer, and a very good one. I am willing to look at your evidence and tell you whether or not you have a case and what places to complain to. My email is open.
