IP adresses can get you very little these days. Don’t worry about it.Answer by Colinc
Worse you have confirmed your email address, and he will now aim every kind of spam and scam mail at you. And send out emails apparently from you through any open smtp relay server he can find.Answer by John Mandella
He only cares about getting suckers, you are not a sucker, you’ve proved it, he’ll move onto the next sucker.Answer by Herman
The scammer won’t bother with you as they know you’re not going to pay anything. They’d be wasting their time to try when they, sadly, have many more vulnerable people out there. Also, they probably live half way around the world so they won’t track your location or anything. The worst you can expect is an angry email with some choice words, I would’ve thought.Answer by Aca Maca

Ask at scambaiting sites for advice on what to do next.
Wasting a scammer’s time legally and safely is called “scambaiting”. If you google that word, you will find sites where you can read scambaits, post up the emails and email addresses of scammers, post up a fake website, read up on how to alert a hosting company that they are hosting a fake website, ask questions and learn all about the hobby of scambaiting.
