Dotty: How can my husband stop some Canadian Medical Company sending e-mails as from him?
The e-mails just give a code and when clicked on it is advertising Viagra, which is embarrassing for my husband when this goes to friends and colleagues and family at random. Please can some one help? Thanks.

You should be able to unsubscribe. If not block and delete, and report it to you internet provider.
I answered an ad for free Asda voucher £15 if I filled out questionaire, this resulted in me getting about 100 trash emails a day and took 3 months of unsubscribing and delete and blocking to stop it, and I never did get my Asda voucher. Be careful out there, don’t give out info and enjoy your computer/internet…
Do not try to unsubscribe. The only time you should ever use an unsubscribe is if you are dealing with a legitimate company to which you really subscribed yourself. Any “unsubscribe” link in a spam can be risky, often downloading malware and/or confirming your address for extra spamming
It is possible the spammers have your password to spam your address book. These are usually obtained with phishing spam. Changing your password could stop that.
However the “Canadian pharmacy” gang seems to have a malicious script that can tell logged in webmail to spam the address book. You have to abstain from clicking the link within the spam.
With so many dirtbags finding ways to misuse the address book it may be best to just copy your addresses to text. Then clean out your address book.
