Sophiee x: How can i persuade my mum and dad to get a cat?
Me and my brother both want a cat we have a rabbit and hamster and we look after them.
My dad would prefer to get a dog but we are out all day so it would be unfair to the dog. But then i say that a cat sleeps and goes outside all day and they are great familybpets they just say no and change the subject! I know there is a slight chance of us getting one, but i just need to know how to completely persuade them! Please help, thanks.

You feed them once a day (not like a dog crying at the window for more food), You let them out in the morning ( no leads or walking, and no cleaning poop in the back yard) back inside at night though, They groom themselves ( no bathing them), They catch insects and rodents ( mum will love that), you dont need to go buy them any special beds or kennels because they will sleep anywhere, they are just cheaper all round, even for food. Beware though that if you do end up getting a kitten that it is taught to leave the rabbit and hamster alone instead of annoying them.
Yes, dogs are hard to look after because you have to play with them, walk them etc. 24/7 but I love my cat he’s the best, but we live in the countryside with loads of feilds so he loves it.
My mum and dad said I could only get my kitten if I found one that i liked and if it was cheap and the other condition is if I read lots of books on cat and fine information.
Cats are also like dogs there food costs quite alot , my mum buys the food but I have to feed him and pay his vet bills.
but persuade your mum and dad that your old enough and maybe a pay a bit towards it….
hope this helped:)
