I’m a man in my late 30s who enjoys dancing to electronic dance music, but my friends don’t. What is the best way to join others around my age in this scene? I’ve tried going to clubs alone, but I haven’t been able to make any friends there. Any ideas?

try taking a dance class of some sort. go to a gym, community college, or dance studio. they offer classes for all ages and skill levels, so youll probably have no trouble finding one in your area. i took dance for ten years and i found that people who like to dance generally like many styles of dance, not just one. so join any type of dance class and odds are youll meet someone who shares your tastes in dance.
