pisceswomanem: How can I get my kitten to become more comfortable around other cats and people?
I live alone with my kitten. Unfortunately she has a tendency to growl and hiss at other cats anytime they come around her. I would like to get another kitten for her to play with.

Get the kitten if you want to get one. She will just have to learn to share. Cats have their own personalities and are not going to change.
Our kitten used to always hiss at everyone when she was young. As she got used to living with my family and our dog she became more friendly gradually. Some cats do this and some cats dont. If you get another kitten she may become more friendly but she also may attack it.Answer by jumbos_mom
Not all kitties are sociable with other cats. Actually my two cats have lived together for 8 years and they dislike each other intensely, however they both get along with and love my dogs. I don’t know that bringing another cat in is the solution but I do think that male cats get along better with a female rather than having two females…just get them spayed and neutered so you don’t have thousands of kitties!!!!Answer by Raymond F

It will just take time to adjust but soon they will be best of friends and sharing/playing. Introduce them slowly with food and treats. Play with them together. That will help the adjustment.Answer by rotc909

Bring home a lion cub and see how she likes growling at him! I assure you the bad behavior will stop instantly.
