Amigo: How can I pet my dog without getting a static electric shock?
It’s very cold and dry lately and whenever I pet my dog we both get a shock.
She is a siberian husky with thick fur. Every time…Ouch!

moist your hands before contact with your pet. water/ moisturiser etc.
Carry a spray bottle of warm water, and spray him before you pet him! 😉Answer by april
rub his entire fur coat with a couple of bounce fabric dryer sheets…it will take away most static and leave his coat smelling fresh.Answer by verywisefor28
Use a dryer sheet to thoroughly rub your pet down. Then use conditioner in his next bath. Give him an extra pat for me.Answer by Tammy C
