Ugh, why would you want to pierce and risk permanent damage to a pleasure center?!! Vertical or horizontal, BOTH sound painful.
The vagina is built vertically, so i’m assuming that the VCH would be less painful than the HCH because the HCH goes against the “grain” (if you will).
Either way, the clitoral hood is very thin (thinner than your earlobe) and the piercing will be done within a matter of seconds and most women are very pleased with the piercing so if you want it, go for it.
I suggest you find a piercer here:
They’ll be more expensive, but they will be worth every cent.
edit:
I’ve talked to women with the HCH/VCH and have read stories of both piercings and most women agree that this piercing really isn’t as painful as you think it may be. Your clitoris will NOT be pierced, but the hood which isn’t that sensitive and again, the hood is thinner than your lobe so it really shouldn’t be painful to the point of you crying.
I suggest you also go here: https://piercingbible.com/
Go to “Female Genital Piercings” and i do believe the second piercing on that page is the HCH, it also wouldn’t hurt you to read stories on how the piercing felt for women.
mmh that’s not a good idea that sounds painful and a place where a higher risk of infection can take place maybe a lip ring or something or a nose but not there that’s nasty tooAnswer by Vivian Kosta
The clitoris is a bunch of balled up nerves made only for sexual pleasure, nothing else. There is no other purpose for it. It is a veryy sensitive area, so piercing it would hurt a lot, with tears promised. Some people do get this type of piercing to increase sexual stimulation during intercourse, and it does work.
But, I would imagine the horizontal one would hurt more. ><
If you are very sure on this type of piercing, I would suggest the vertical one.Answer by ms.goodiebag
I had mine done yesterday. Its my 3rd piercing next to my ears, and YES I am the type of person that gets a lil sick when I so much as have to get blood drawn. I got it because I wanted too! The people on here commenting on the “message” it sends or “how men look at it”- are mostly women. And the type of men on Yahoo Answers- I’m sure you aren’t dating. So lets cut all of that out of the picture-
If you want to know how it feels: Take a small piece of skin between your index and thumb nails, pinch the skin and pluck it very swiftly. BOOM: thats it! Nothing to worry about at all. I the verticle hood piercing, I feel no discomfort. The aftercare instructions are simple, just wash with antibacterial soap (which the shop provided to me…”Dial” to be specific) 3 times a day, and no sex for 2 weeks, no oral for 6-8. Apparently, depending on your anatomy and the abilities of the piercer- you may not have a choice in which one you can get. Do some research, preferably a place that ONLY does piercings, and ask questions. The actual procedure goes so fast you don’t pay it any mind AND after you heal in about 6 weeks you can opt for a barbell that fits underneath the hood for less visibility.
