How long to wait to say “i love you” to your girlfriend?

: How long to wait to say “i love you” to your girlfriend?
I’m not planning on it anytime soon (we’ve only been dating for 11 days).
There’s a saying “Love is too powerful of a word to say it too soon, but it has such a beautiful meaning to say it too late.” – i’m afraid that i’ll mess it up and either say it too soon or too late….so, i’m wondering about how long do couples usually go before they tell each other if they love them or not?

Me and my boyfriend said it after 2 days of going out.. i know too early but oh well.

I don’t think theres any set time limit, every one is different and so is every relationship!! I know my boyfriend and I started saying it around 5-6 months, but bith he and I felt it before then but were just to chicken to say it sooner 🙂

It definitely depends on how close you are and how long you’ve been together. I’d want to hear it after a few weeks to a month. I’d worry more about saying it too late than too early. Good luck!

It really bothers me that people are trying to give you a number of days before they think it’s appropriate!!! Say it when you FEEL it. I wouldn’t have cared if my boyfriend said it after one week because if he didn’t mean it, then it would have meant nothing. My boyfriend I first started using that word after a few months, but it was once we felt love. We have now been together for 3 years.

It’s tricky. But keep in mind not to “fall” too soon. Be sure that you really like her. Don’t say it just to say it. Only say you love her, or anyone, when you TRULY mean it. You wouldn’t want someone to lie to you claiming they love you when they don’t, would you? Good luck. (:
