Alyssa: Does the Bride usually pay for herself at the Bachelorette Party?
I’m planning my friends Bachelorette Party and we’re planning on flying to Vegas, and I was wondering if the bridesmaids are traditionally expected to pay for the Bride?

The bride should never pay on that day.
I know that with bachelor parties, everyone going chips in a little extra to cover the groom, and if there are any extra expenses (extra drinks, lap dances, etc.), the best man or someone else will cover it. I’m assuming that it is the same with a bachelorette party. If you can get 10 people to go, then you are only paying 10% extra each to cover the bachelorette. If this issue is that the cost of the plane trip for everyone is too high, maybe you should plan something else. You wouldn’t be obligated to cover her gambling expenses.Answer by Milly
Usually you try to cover the bride…everyone chips in a little bit to pay for her. Although, I think it’s understandable, if you can’t afford to pay for her whole trip, since it sounds a little more involved. See how much it comes out to and go from there – maybe the friends can pay for a good part of it, even if not the whole thing.
